GRANZOTTO has been operating for years in the oil sector, especially olive oil.
An oil transfer plant must be designed and built taking into consideration the chemical, physical and rheological properties of the substance, above all by virtue of the tendency of the viscosity to increase considerably as the temperature decreases, possibly also leading to solidification of the product. GRANZOTTO designs and manufactures plants for the production of various edible oils, such as olive oil, sunflower oil, palm oil and soybean oil. Each plant is designed by carefully studying the behaviour of the product.
The plants built by GRANZOTTO for the production of oil can benefit from the extensive experience of the design team and the wide range of products that GRANZOTTO offers. Particularly interesting in this context is the use of PIG G-RECO systems for the recovery of the residual product in the pipes. The use of the PIG makes it possible to reduce product waste, reduce washing and sanitization times and costs, maintain the plant in superior hygiene and cleaning conditions, with a positive impact on the quality of the finished product.
To obtain the maximum degree of cleanliness it is also possible to implement G-CLEAN CIP (clean-in-place) systems, designed to carry out sanitation and cleaning operations in an efficient and automated way.
GRANZOTTO plants can also heat treat and transfer different types of oil, including sunflower oil, palm oil and soybean oil.
